I YEAR
By 15th September: 1. Hand in to the coordinator a research proposal, indicating possible supervisors .
2. Inform the Coordinator on on-going arrangements related to the period abroad: destination, lenght of stay, faculty contacted, update on co-tutelle or joint degree procedures (where applicable).
By 25th October: deliberation of the Doctoral Committee on admission to the II year and period abroad (taking into account the exam results) Students must make a proposal for their mobility to partner and non partner institutions and the decision is subject to the agreement of the members of the board.
II YEAR
By 31st July: presentation of the dissertation draft before the Doctoral Committee
By 25th October: presentation of the dissertation draft before the Doctoral Committee
By 25th October: deliberation of the Doctoral Committee on admission to the III year and possible period abroad
III YEAR
By June 30th: e-mail to the coordinator a report on the past six months research activity (Jan-July)
By October 15th: workshop - presentation of the dissertation before the Doctoral Committee
By October 25th: deliberation of the doctoral Committee on admission to the final discussion of the Ph.D. thesis and nomination of the Committee, with indication of date and venue of the final discussion.
NOTE:
It is possible to request to the Coordinator a motivated year extension in order to complete the dissertation. For those holdind a grant, according to University regulations, the fourth year of study is not supported by scholarships.
By November 15th: When admitted to the final discussion, students must submit to the coordinator a revised version of the dissertation, taking into account the modifications suggested in the workshop.
